So Tres Chic

This Week In: Sultry Summer Fashion

I mean, I call it “sultry” because I could dress down for the summer but still look totally classy.

Anyways, I went to Walnut Creek for my sister’s birthday. An ultra-hot climate there, so they say. But I like the conditions there during the late afternoon because the air gets pleasantly warm, and there’s no wind.

I wave my sleeves up and down, I wave my sleeves up and down…okay, but seriously, I can’t. Get. Enough. Of Those. Sleeves!
Went to the app store with Ma, and I got bored, so this happened…

I’m wearing:

Off-sleeve blouse — TOBI

Shorts — American Eagle

Heels — Unlisted

Of course, in my book, no look is complete without some makeup! And since I wanted to celebrate today, I did a smoky look today. Eyeshadow was from my trusty Victoria’s Secret palette:

I’m going to try to heap in more fashion blogs over the summer because they’re so much fun, but in the meanwhile I’ve got other plans as well. I’m going to read in Russian to enhance my comprehension skills, continue tap-dancing, write more poetry on my other blog, finish my third book in my trilogy, compete in a short story writing contest, try getting into some online publications (!!!), read some books, make more Youtube reviews of said books, take more hikes to enjoy the California weather. Annnnd…complete 4 summer college courses, 3 of them related to my English major. Oh snap, I’m packed!

Oh, yeah! so I’m going to try to apply for an English tutoring position next semester. Easier said than done. It’s a struggle getting a professor to write you a letter of recommendation, so if anything, I’ll write it myself. Not a problem as far as I’m concerned. I only hope I can get one of my professors to sign it!!

Remember, whatever your summer plans are…don’t copy me. I’m a living paradox of the meaning of “summer vacation.”
